My journey in environmental work is rooted in both science and community. With a degree in Environmental Science and Sustainable Technology, I’ve learned that real change happens when policy meets people. At Eco Hub Caribbean, I’m excited to be part of a team that turns ideas into action, whether through sustainable projects or empowering local voices.
From working at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries to volunteering in grassroots efforts, I’ve seen how small steps lead to big impact. What drives me isn’t just the technical side of sustainability, but the stories behind it, the communities adapting to climate challenges, the ecosystems we’re fighting to protect, and the collective effort needed to make a difference.
For me, environmental work isn’t just about what we achieve, but how we work together to get there. At Eco Hub Caribbean, I hope to contribute to a future where sustainability isn’t an exception, but a way of life for our region.

Growing up, I had a lot of interests from art to dance, green architecture, biology, geography and history, but if there's one constant, it's that I always loved the environment, and with a very seabound family background, naturally this meant a greater pull toward the marine enviornment. After graduating wth a double major BSc in Biology and Environmental Science at the UWI, I set out to help conserve our marine and terrestrial environments via educational outreach programs at SpeSeas, a number of marine and aquatic research projects and even taking on a Masters in Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development in the Caribbean. I love being in the field, analysing samples in the lab and planning projects, and some of my favourite days are spent creating art pieces or volunteering at a number of projects. One could say I'm a wild mix of the arts, an environmental scientist, human geography, project management and the insatiable urge to extract and analyse DNA from a patch of seagrass. Ultimately, I aspire toward a career in project management and or research, particularly in marine conservation and environmental sustainability. All in all, I'm dedicated toward making a splash today for tomorrow, for the betterment of environmental health, an improved and sustainable quality of life on earth and ultimately a cleaner, healthier planet.'

From the moment I was old enough to understand the rhythm of nature, I felt an undeniable pull toward the environment. Growing up in Trinidad, I was surrounded by vibrant ecosystems and biodiversity that surrounded me, which shaped my deep appreciation for the Earth. That early love for the natural world became the compass for my journey, eventually guiding me to pursue a degree in Environmental Science and Sustainable Technology (Special) at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus and this academic foundation was shaped by a strong focus on applied sustainability and systems thinking. My professional experience was further strengthened by my internship at Methanex Trinidad, where I gained hands-on exposure to industrial sustainability practices, stakeholder collaboration, and real world applications of environmental technology. That experience sharpened my strategic thinking and affirmed my commitment to bridging innovation with impact. Now, through EcoHub Caribbean, I can apply my learnings in building a platform where environmental innovation meets cultural authenticity. My goal is clear: to inspire ecological entrepreneurship across the region by adapting global sustainability models to Caribbean realities, strengthening community resilience, and crafting a future where people and planet thrive together.
